Curtainsider semi-trailer
A curtainsider for comfort and protection
A curtainsider is the perfect choice when you want to combine the advantages of a closed semi-trailer with a short (un)loading time. Instead of hard walls, the sides are made of reinforced fabric with a waterproof coating that is pulled over the loading space of the semi-trailer. These so-called curtains can be detached, allowing easy simultaneous loading and unloading from the rear and sides. But thanks to the closed nature, the cargo is still protected from the various weather conditions. It is probably because of its high level of versatility that this semi-trailer is the model you see most often on our European highways.
Curtainsider semi-trailers with different kinds of curtains
The standard version of a curtainsider is on average 13.6 metres long, 2.7 metres high and 2.5 metres wide. It usually has three axles with a load capacity of 9 tonnes per axle. But there are also a lot of differences between the various models. For example, we can make a distinction between a traditional curtain system, Tautliners with sliding tarpaulins or even (hydraulic) roller blinds. The rear of the semi-trailer, on the other hand, can consist of fixed doors or a tarpaulin. In addition, some curtainsiders have a sliding roof, which makes it possible to load and unload from above using a forklift. Others have a tailboard for extra convenience. So within our offer of second-hand curtainsiders you will surely find one that fully meets your requirements.
