Types of open body trailers

A trailer with an open loading platform is very useful for transporting large indivisible goods. Often these are goods that are out of ordinary dimensions, stacked goods or goods of varying heights. The only prerequisite is that they are not affected by weather conditions such as precipitation or wind. The trailer, which does have its own front axle, is attached to a towing vehicle by means of a tow bar. As a result, the loading floor is often slightly longer than that of open-topped trucks, which also increases the maximum loading capacity.
