Second-hand tipper truck
Tipper trucks for easy discharge of bulk goods
A tipper is a truck whose body can be tipped backwards. By tilting the load compartment, it is placed at an angle to the chassis rather than horizontally. This is usually done by means of a hydraulic mechanism and makes it easier to unload the cargo through the tailgate. Because the load literally falls out of the truck, the term 'dump truck' is sometimes used. Tipper trucks are mainly used in construction and agriculture for transporting bulk goods such as gravel and sand. Sideways tippers are rarer. They are sometimes used in the mining industry or for the construction of railways.
Second-hand tippers by Mercedes, MAN, DAF, Volvo, Iveco, Scania or Renault
There are various types of tipper trucks. The most common model is probably the tipper with an open loading platform. But tippers can also be equipped with a closed loading space, a silo or even a tanker for liquid loads. In addition, the maximum loading capacity plays a role in the choice of the right tipper, as does the surface over which one usually has to drive. At Braem you have a wide choice of second-hand tippers from Mercedes, MAN, DAF, Volvo, Iveco, Scania or Renault. Take a look in our online catalogue to find a tipper that perfectly fits your needs!
